About Us

Our story begins with our senior founder Leo, who immigrated to Canada from Ukraine over 25 years ago. For 15 years back home he ran a very successful big firm that dealt in wholesale import/export of construction materials, supplying a lot of construction companies and projects throughout the region.

After moving to Canada, he continued to run his business in Ukraine along with some partners from New York, and being the true entrepreneur that he is – Leo decided to start several new businesses in Canada amongst them a flooring company, mainly dealing in wholesale and retail of Hardwood and Laminate flooring as well as taking on smaller private jobs and projects throughout the GTA region.

Out of this the company grew and by the time his son Dmitry joined the family business and became a partner, the name Floor Systems was born and the company had branched out into the contracting business taking on some medium to large sized commercial projects.

Today Floor Systems is a well known, established company in Ontario, Canada working with some of the countries largest Builders & Developers on new sub-division and mid to high rise building projects, supplying and installing flooring and other finishing products ranging from Tile to Trim and wall coverings and of course every type of flooring that you can possibly imagine.

Our goal is to provide the best quality products and services, cater to every clients needs and be there every step of the way of the process to make sure smooth completion of projects and solving any problem that comes our way, while maintaining professional standards and the utmost care in everything that we do.

No matter how much we grow, as owners of the business we stay involved in operations 100% and this translates to work being done properly and in a timely manner making sure we keep to schedule and budget, keeping our clients happy and satisfied.
